The teaser video does not reveal much, other than what seems to be its exhaust note, which could've been tuned for a sportier setting. A leaked spec sheet has shown the 1.0L Boosterjet’s figures. It will output 100 hp (75kW) at 5,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque between 1,700 rpm – 4,500 rpm. It is not only more powerful but is also claimed to be more fuel efficient than the regular 1.2 petrol.

The Baleno RS will distinguish itself from regular variants with a black mesh grille, sportier front bumper with a wider radiator intake and silver underlining, side skirts, black-painted alloy wheels, roof spoiler and an aggressive rear bumper. It will also be equipped with rear-disc brakes for better stopping power.
