Audi has launched the first diesel model of the 2017 Audi A4 in India - Audi A4 35TDI in India, priced at INR 40.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the most powerful model of the all-new A4 are now open.
The 2017 Audi A4 35TDI is equipped with the 2.0-litre TDI turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via the 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. The A4 diesel can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and claim a top speed of 237 km/h.
The driver can select from four driving modes: Comfort, Dynamic, Auto and Individual. The Audi A4 diesel's ARAI-certified fuel economy figure is 18.25 km/l. Audi says that the all-new A4 diesel offers 7% more power and is 7% more fuel-efficient than the previous model.
Key exterior and interior features of the 2017 Audi A4 35TDI are, LED headlights, dynamic turn indicators (rear) and 17.5-inch ARM Tornado design alloy wheels, standard LED ambient lighting and three-zone automatic climate control.

The 2017 Audi A4 35TDI comes with some advanced technologies such as the Audi virtual cockpit 12.3-inch fully-digital instrument cluster with two display modes and voice control, 8.3-inch MMI Navigation plus infotainment system with MMI touch and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration compatibility and Audi phone box (optional) for wireless smartphone charging.
The diesel model is equipped with an Audi-branded 180-watt, 10-speaker sound system. Safety and driver assistance features include ABS with EBD, 8 airbags and Audi Parking Aid Plus with rearview camera.
