Audi has launched that the 2017 Audi A3 Cabriolet in India, with prices starting at INR 47,98,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the facelifted model are now open.
The new Audi A3 Cabriolet features redesigned LED headlamps, revised front bumper, sharper singleframe grille, redesigned grille, new air intakes, new alloy wheels and tweaked tail lights on the outside.
On the inside, not much has changed. The MMI navigation system with an electrically retractable 7.0-inch display is standard now. The facelifted is equipped with the Audi phone box as standard, which offers wireless smartphone charging.
The facelifted Audi A3 Cabriolet features Milano Leather seat upholstery, dual-zone climate control with sunlight dependent control, Audi parking system plus with front and rear sensors and a rearview camera, optional smartphone interface, optional Bang and Olufsen sound system, five airbags and ABS with EBD. The Indian-spec version, being a base model, is not equipped with the 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit.

With the facelift, the Audi A3 Cabriolet has swapped the 132 kW (180 hp) 1.8-litre TFSI engine with a notably less potent, 110 kW (150 hp) 1.4-litre TFSI engine. The smaller engine also delivers 250 Nm of torque, though. The 7-speed S Tronic transmission continues being the standard offering. Thanks to the new engine, which features cylinder deactivation, the A3 Cabriolet now delivers 19.20 km/l, converting to an improvement of 2.6 km/l over the previous model.
