Bajaj Pulsar 150 to continue being sold.
Bajaj Auto unveiled the Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS in Turkey last month as a replacement for the Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS in the country. In India, however, the new Pulsar 160 NS may not be launched, says a report from carandbike.
The Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS could have been a potential Honda CB Hornet 160R competitor, but as per the report, an insider has said that the company plans to continue the Pulsar 150 in India. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is still popular in the domestic market and has a robust sales performance.
The Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS is powered by a 160.3 cc oil-cooled engine that produces 15.5 PS and at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Compared to the internationally sold Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS' air-cooled engine, the 160 NS produces 1.5 PS lesser power, but 1.6 Nm more of torque. Another aspect in which both models differ is weight. The Pulsar 150 NS weighs 140 kg, while the new Pulsar 160 NS is 135 kg.
