Also gets new 17-inch alloy wheels from the Euro-spec EcoSport.
IAB reader Nagaraj Muthuswamy has photographed the MY2017 Ford EcoSport Titanium+ variant at a dealer stockyard in India, ahead of its rumoured launch in February.
We have reported the changes Ford has made to the MY2017 Ford EcoSport based on a leaked brochure scan, but this is the first time we're seeing the 17-inch alloy wheels from the international-spec EcoSport made available to Indian buyers. They are wrapped with 205/50/R17 tires and is more than likely to be exclusive to the Titanium+ grade.
The highlight of the 2017 Ford EcoSport Titanium+ is its 8-inch touchscreen system retrofitted by Ford India. At first glance, it appears to be Ford's latest SYNC 3 infotainment system, but a closer look at the icons and other UI elements reveal that it's a custom software skinned to look like SYNC 3. It has features like satellite navigation, DVD player, rear view camera, and door ajar warning.
Ford India has deleted a few comfort- and cosmetic-based features in the EcoSport Titanium+, which include driver seat armrest, lumbar support, cooled glove box, leather-wrapped handbrake & gear shift knob, and chrome scuff plates, none of which can be seen in these pictures.
