Only available in the 1.5 TDCi and 1.0L EcoBoost Titanium+ variants.
A Team-BHP reader has managed to acquire details as well as images of the new touchscreen system that will be offered in the Titanium+ variants of the MY2017 Ford EcoSport.
The touchscreen system is retrofitted by Ford India, and it appears to feature a custom infotainment systems, rather than Ford's own SYNC series of systems. It is an 8-inch touchscreen with features like satellite navigation, DVD player, rear view camera, and door ajar warning.
Ford has also deleted several features across the range, such as reclining rear seats, rear defogger, vanity lamp, driver seat height adjust, 60:40 split for rear seats, rear wash & wipe and passenger seat storage box in Trend grade, while Trend+ variant downgrades to black plastic roof rails (instead of silver), and loses passenger seat storage box, reclining rear seats and 60:40 split for rear seats.
Also removed from the features list are driver seat armrest, lumbar support, cooled glove box, leather-wrapped handbrake & gear shift knob, and chrome scuff plates. The passenger seat storage box is now exclusive to the top Titanium grades.
