The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 was Bajaj’s first fully faired bike.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is set to officially launch in the days ahead. Ahead of its announcement, here's a video walkaround of the motorcycle by Aditya’s V World.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will gain mechanical updates as well as at least two new colours, one being the grey-black mix first showcased at a dealer event in Turkey and the other a white-blue scheme showcased at APS 2017. When launched first in 2015, the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS offered two colour options, Red and Yellow. The bike, with time, did gain a Midnight Black paint scheme. The new Blue and white scheme though can be another marketing highlight for Bajaj Auto.
Powering the bike is the same triple spark 199.5 cc mill which does duty in the Pulsar AS 200, but the RS200 gets fuel injection. The single cylinder engine is capable of 24.5 PS of maximum power at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. Needless to say, the bike will come with BSIV compliance. As per a government mandate, all two-wheeler manufacturers will have to meet BSIV emission norms by April 2017.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will also be slightly heavier compared to the BSIII version and a few thousand rupees costlier as well.
