Reported to launch on January 16; bookings currently open.
A Tata Hexa demo unit has been photographed at a dealership in Gujarat, offering prospective customers an early look at the car before it goes on sale in January 2017, with reports narrowing down the launch date to January 16. These images appeared on the Tata Hexa unofficial FB group.
Booking for Hexa are being accepted across all Tata dealerships in India for a minimum deposit of INR 25,000 since November 1. Reports claim that Tata received 250 bookings for the Hexa in just two days, although Tata officials haven't confirmed such a feat. The Aria-based crossover's prices are expected to undercut its key rivals: the Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta, ranging between INR 12 Lakhs – INR 16 Lakhs (ex-showroom, estimated).
Tata is going all out to spread the word and rope in new customers, organising test drives with off-road experiences as well as partnering with Farhan Akhtar's sequel to Rock On - Rock On 2 - where the Hexa makes a cameo.
