Ford has not green lit the production of new Fiesta sedan.
Theophilus Chin has created a rendering of the next gen Ford Fiesta sedan, based on the 2017 Ford Fiesta hatchback that was unveiled last month. So far, Ford has not spoken about top-hats on the Fiesta platform.
The Honda City-rival features a profile similar to the outgoing model, but with sleeker taillamps, sculpted spoiler, and a new bumper. The front-end is taken straight from the hatchback, featuring a new hexagonal grille with chrome slats, slightly redesigned headlamps, and a new bumper with sleek foglamps.
Given that the B-segment sedan in major markets is currently being replaced with crossovers, Ford may not introduce a sedan version of its hot-selling Fiesta hatchback. A similarly priced compact crossover is likely to be a better business case than a B-segment sedan in markets like Europe and U.S.

In India, the Fiesta sedan was sold in its previous gen guise, rivalling the likes of the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Rapid and VW Vento. However, Ford India decided to pull the plug due to low sales figures, leaving Ford Aspire as the only sedan in the portfolio.
The company was rumoured to introduce a new mid-size sedan based on the Ford B500 platform, but its development was reportedly shelved.
