Sportive variants of Ford's premium utility vehicles.
The 2015 Ford Edge Sport and the 2015 Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport had their European premieres at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Ford Edge Sport
The Edge Sport is a high-performance version of the Edge, powered by the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 powerplant that produces 315 hp and 474 Nm of torque.
The front and rear anti-roll bars of the suspension are 15% stiffer than that of the standard version, and the rear monotube dampers have been enlarged.
Notable exterior features offered on the Sport version include high-gloss black grille and window pillars, exterior door-cladding, door handles, sporty skid plate and rear diffuser, 20-inch alloy wheels with Dark Tarnish finish and unique twin rectangular exhaust pipes.
The sporty character is carried inside the car with sports seats with carbon-effect inserts, Ebony interior door trims, high-gloss piano black finish surrounds around the switchgear and satin silver metal detailing for interior door handles, air-vent surrounds and dashboard round up the changes.
Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport
The Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport is offered with a more aggressive appeal provided by colour-coded wheel arches and rear spoiler, silver roof rails, privacy glass, 19-inch alloy wheels and a contrasting skid plate and rear diffuser.
The high-spec trim also adds new equipments including a Sony satellite navigation system with DAB, and reversing camera and Active Park Assist for semi-automated parallel parking. The new range-topping trim is now on sale in Europe, priced from £28,345 (INR 26.76 lakhs) in the UK.
