The 2017 KTM Duke 390's upgraded, Euro IV-compliant 373.2 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine puts out 32 kW (44 hp) at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of torque 7,000 rpm, and it's paired to a 6-speed transmission. There's a bigger fuel tank that stores 13.4 litres (+2.4 litres) of fuel to offer better driving range.

For those concerned with the outgoing model's underbelly exhaust being unsuitable during rains, the redesigned model is fitted with a conventional side-mounted exhaust system. There are 320 mm (front) and 230 mm (rear) disc brakes to provide the stopping power.

LED headlight, LED daytime running lights consisting of 20 LEDs, colour TFT instrument panel, KTM MY RIDE for smartphone tethering and Bosch 9MB two-channel ABS are some of the key features of the 2017 KTM Duke 390. It also features a ride-by-wire system, and the Indian-spec version won't be shy of that, as per the report.
