Suzuki is yet to release technical specs of the Australia-spec Suzuki Ignis, but CarAdvice is speculating that it could offer a 1.2L K12C engine paired with the SHVS mild hybrid system or a 1.0L Boosterjet three cylinder engine. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT, while an ALLGRIP AWD system may be exclusive to the range-topping model.

Features one can expect from the Australia-spec Suzuki Ignis include LED headlamps, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, sliding rear seat, and a choice of dual tone exterior colors. As for safety equipment, the Ignis will feature airbags and ABS as standard, but it’s unclear if it will source ESP, Dual Camera Brake Support (DCBS), lane departure warning, and weaving alert from the Euro-spec model.

Currently the Suzuki Ignis is sold only in Japan. The second market to receive it will be India, this festival season.
