Mahindra has announced a range of attractive discounts for the flagship Mahindra XUV500 to commemorate its 5th anniversary of sales, which coincides with the festival season. Dealers are offering discounts and benefits worth between INR 22,000 to INR 66,000.
It is also available with road side assistance schemes, extended warranty, accident insurance benefits and optional accessories. So car buyers planning to purchase a Mahindra XUV500 this Diwali can avail several discounts.
In its five years of sales in India, Mahindra has sold well over 1.5 Lakh units of the XUV500 flagship. It was launched in September 2011 and, days after the launch, unprecedented demand forced Mahindra to stop bookings. The prospect of a mid-size 7-seater utility vehicle with an attention-grabbing exterior, spacious and comfortable interior, heavily feature packed and priced under INR 18 Lakhs was not resistible for SUV lovers.

The Mahindra XUV500 is powered by a 2.2L mHawk turbo diesel engine (1.99L engine in Delhi NCR) that produces 140 hp and 330 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox, while an AWD system is optional in the top-end W8 and W10 grades.
