Honda has not discontinued the Mobilio however.
According to a report on Business Standard, Honda Cars India has not produced even a single unit of the Honda Mobilio in the last 10 months owing to poor demand for the MPV. Launched in July 2014, the report states that production is not expected to resume 'for some weeks at least'.
The report takes into account data supplied by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers in stating that the Mobilio was last produced in India towards the end of November 2015. However, the Mobilio has not been phased out of the market, as certain dealers are offering discounts in the range of INR 50,000 to INR 1 lakh.
Monthly sales of the Honda Mobilio have dipped from a high of 3,400 units/month (in 2014) to around 200-300 units/month this year. Last month, the Mobilio accounted for only 261 units, a 59 percent fall in sales from September 2015.

The report quotes a Honda Cars India spokesperson stating that sales of the Mobilio are "as per the potential of the personal usage segment". Honda does not sell the Mobilio in the commercial segment, whereas rivals including Maruti (Maruti Ertiga), Chevrolet (Chevrolet Enjoy) and even Toyota (Toyota Innova) offer their products to fleet/taxi operators.
Markets like Indonesia and Thailand received an updated Mobilio this year with a new interior borrowed from the Honda BR-V. This update is expected in India in the coming months.
