There is equal consumer preference for petrol and diesel variants.
Honda Cars India have announced that they received over 10,000 bookings for the Honda BR-V in less than two months; it was launched on May 5.
According to Mr. Yoichiro Ueno, President & CEO, Honda Cars India, there is an equal consumer preference for petrol and diesel variants of the BR-V. It is sold in 9 variants, and is priced between INR 8.75-12.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The petrol variant of the Honda BR-V is powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine producing 119 PS and 145 Nm of torque, and is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT with paddle-shifters. The diesel variant packs a 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine that develops 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque and paired to a 6-speed manual transmission only.
The top-end BR-V VX grade gets projector headlights, LED light guides, diamond-finished 16-inch alloy wheels, skid plates, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push button start, Bluetooth-enabled music system, steering mounted audio controls, rear AC and faux-leather seats.
