Made its Indonesian debut at the 2016 GIIAS in August.
The India-bound Suzuki Ignis has been spied uncamouflaged in Indonesia, following its local debut at the 2016 GIIAS in August. It is expected to launch before the end of this year in Indonesia.
The Ignis spotted appears to be the GIIAS show car which could've been imported from Japan - the only place where the Ignis is on sale currently. For Indonesia however, it will reportedly be manufactured and exported from India, where it's expected to go on sale in October-November.
PT Suzuki Indomobil has already confirmed that the Ignis will only be available with a 1.2L VVT petrol engine, which produces 83 hp and 115 Nm in its hatchback sibling - the India-spec Maruti Baleno. Transmission options include a 5 speed MT or an AGS (AMT) gearbox.
