Fiat Urban Cross in Abarth variant showcased in Bangalore

Deliveries start from October.

Facebook user, Tauseef See, has posted these images of the recently-launched Fiat Urban Cross in what appears to be a shopping mall in Bangalore. The Urban Cross in these images is the top-end Abarth variant, as seen by the ‘Powered by Abarth’ badges on the rear door and ‘Scorpion’ alloy wheels.

The Fiat Urban Cross is available with the 1.3L diesel and 1.4L T-Jet petrol engines.

The Fiat Urban Cross was launched in India over the weekend, with deliveries set to begin from October 1. The Urban Cross is priced as follows –

Fiat Urban Cross 1.3 Multijet Active: INR 6.85 lakh
Fiat Urban Cross 1.3 Multijet Dynamic: INR 7.45 lakh
Fiat Urban Cross 1.4 T-Jet Emotion: INR 9.85 lakh

Note that all prices are ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

The 1.4-liter T-Jet petrol engine produces 140 PS and 210 Nm of torque, while the 1.3-liter diesel develops 93 PS and 209 Nm of torque. Both variants are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Features of the Fiat Urban Cross include a 5-inch Smartech touch-screen AVN (Audio, Video & Navigation) system, 16-inch alloy wheels, spoiler, rear AC vents, steering mounted audio controls, dual airbags and ABS with EBD. The Urban Cross features the same ground clearance as the Avventura at 205 mm, but hosts its spare wheel in the boot whereas the Avventura gets an external swing-type mechanism.
