Will be based on the CMF-B platform.
As per an Autocar India report, the next-generation Nissan Micra will make its world debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show that opens its doors on September 29. Note that the Micra to be unveiled will be the Euro-spec model, while the India-spec model is expected to be slightly different.
Spyshots of pre-production prototypes have revealed that the next-gen Micra will mirror the styling of the Nissan Sway Concept, featuring an all new design with contemporary touches. The dimensions of the new Micra could be similar to that of the Sway Concept, which measures 4,010 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,385 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm.
The 2017 Nissan Micra will make the jump to Renault-Nissan's modular CMF platform (specifically CMF-B), and will be manufactured at Renault's plant in Flins, France, rather than in India. The India-spec Micra is reported to continue with the current model's V platform, but could feature a styling similar to the new Micra.
