The 2017 Nissan Micra has been spied testing yet again, this time showing its front-end in Europe, courtesy Worldscoop. The 2017 Nissan Micra should be undergoing its final testing, as it's reported to debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in September.
The front-end of the 2017 Nissan Micra has already been seen before in a much clearer spyshot. Evidently, the next-gen Nissan Micra draws heavy inspiration from the Nissan Sway Concept. The all-new Micra also appears to have grown in size, making it a better rival to popular compact hatchbacks like the Ford Fiesta and the Renault Clio.
The 2017 Nissan Micra will be based on the CMF-B version of the Renault-Nissan Alliance's CMF (Common Modular Family) platform. The next-gen Nissan Micra will be the first alliance model to use this version of the latest modular platform, but not to its fullest. Only some elements of this platform are said to be used for the Micra. The first car to use the CMF-B platform completely will be the second-gen Nissan Juke.

The 2017 Nissan Micra is expected to be offered with an array of petrol and diesel engine options, including one or more shared with the Renault Clio, with displacements ranging from 0.9- to 1.6-litre. It will be built at the Renault plant located in Flins, near Paris, France. AMEI (Asia, Middle East and India) region markets will reportedly get a different next-gen Nissan Micra that will be built at the Renault-Nissan’s Alliance facility in Oragadam near Chennai, India.
