Jaguar India has released the final specifications and features of the Jaguar F-Pace, which will launch in the country later this year.
Unveiled to the Indian public at the Auto Expo 2016 in February, the Jaguar F-Pace is the company’s first SUV to launch in the Indian market. It will be available in three trims – Pure, Prestige and R-Sport. All variants are equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox with all-wheel drive as standard.
It’s the feature list where things start to differ. The base F-Pace Pure will be equipped with cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels, 10-way power adjustable front seats, JLR’s InControl Touch infotainment system, front and rear parking sensors, JLR’s All Surface Progress Control system, heated and power folding ORVMs and brake pad wear indicator.
The Prestige adds Taurus leather upholstery, reverse-parking camera, headlamp washers, additional exterior chrome detailing and an auto dimming internal rear-view mirror. The top-end R-Sport trim gets a sportier body kit, LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, mood lighting, larger front brakes, gesture-control for tailgate, power adjustable front seats with memory, power adjustable steering column, reclining rear seat, JLR’s InControl Touch Pro infotainment system and surround-camera system.
Coming to the powertrain, the Jaguar F-Pace Pure and Prestige variants will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 180 hp and an 8.7 second sprint to 100 km/h. The R-Sport variant will get the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine churning 300 hp and a quicker 0-100 km/h time of only 6.2 seconds.
The Jaguar F-Pace is expected to cost around INR 80 lakhs, ex-Showroom.
