The Datsun redi-GO that was launched in India last month has now reached Nepal. The company's new ultra low-cost car has been launched in the country by its authorised local distributor Pioneer Moto Corp and is available at 11 sales outlets.
The Datsun redi-GO has been priced from NPR 13,99,000-18,49,000 (INR 8.72 lakhs to INR 11.53 lakhs) and is available in five colours in Nepal: white, silver, grey, ruby and lime.
The Datsun redi-GO measures 3,429 mm in length, 1,560 mm in width and 1,541 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,348 mm and a best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm. It's powered by the 0.8-litre i-SAT (intelligent Spark Automated Technology) three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 54 PS at 5,678 rpm and and 72 Nm of torque at 4,386 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. The redi-GO has a fuel economy rating of 25.17 km/l according to ARAI tests.

Priced from INR 2,38,900 (ex-showroom), the Datsun redi-GO is available in five grades: D, A, T, T(O) and S. Earlier this month, Nissan India announced that the CMF-A platform-based Datsun model has managed to gain over 10,000 bookings.
