Nissan India has announced that the Datsun redi-Go has received over 10,000 bookings, stating that a large portion of the bookings have come from metropolitan areas and Tier 2 cities. The redi-Go was launched on June 7, 2016 with prices ranging from INR 2,38,900 to INR 3,34,399, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
Based on the same CMF-A platform as the Renault Kwid, the Datsun redi-Go measures 3,429 mm long, 1,560 mm wide, 1,541 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2,348 mm, and boasts of a best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm. The boot space is rated at 222 liters.
Power for the most-affordable Datsun on sale comes from the same 0.8L petrol engine seen on the Kwid. With i-SAT technology, the redi-Go produces 54 hp and 72 Nm of torque, and comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in a best-in-class figure of 15.98 seconds and averages an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 25.17 km/L.
LED daytime running lights, front power windows, power steering, a music system with radio/CD/USB/AUX input and a drivers airbag are some of the features available on the top-end variant of the Datsun redi-Go.

The Datsun redi-GO is offered with a standard two year warranty/unlimited kilometers with free roadside assistance. An optional package extends the warranty to three years/unlimited kilometers.
