Could be offered as accessories for the Kite 5 sedan, initially.
Twitter user, Dhananjayan Kausshik, has posted an interesting rendering of the to-launch Tata Kite 5 with the crossover treatment similar to that of the Tata Tiago Aktiv.
Tata Motors has not announced plans to put it into production; but if they do, it'll set up a niche segment much like the Volvo S60 Cross Country did in the compact luxury segment. Similar to the Tiago, Tata may initially offer the crossover bits as accessories for customers to personalize their sub-4m sedan.
The Tata Kite 5 is expected to launch during this festive season, and has been spotted testing multiple times. It is Tata's third sub-4m sedan, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,647 mm in width, 1,535 mm in height and 2,450 mm in wheelbase.

The Kite 5 will source its engines from the Tiago, which includes an all new 1.2L three cylinder Revotron engine with 83 bhp/114 Nm of torque and 1.05L Revotorq diesel engine producing 69 bhp/140Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual is the only confirmed gearbox for the Kite 5, while an AMT variant is also reportedly in the works.
