Mahindra Electric has launched the all electric Mahindra e-Verito for sale today. It’s available in three variants: D2, D4 and D6, and is priced between INR 9.5-10 Lakhs (Ex Showroom Delhi, after FAME incentive and Delhi govt subsidy).
The Mahindra e-Verito is the company’s second full electric vehicle to launch in India. The electric drivetrain is powered by a Li-Ion 72 Volt battery pack that takes 8 hours and 45 minutes to charge. If you opt for D6 variant, it comes equipped with Fast Charging that replenishes the battery cells in just 1 hour and 45 minutes. This is only possible at a Mahindra Electric Fast Charging Station.
With a fully-charged battery pack, the Mahindra e-Verito has a total range of 110 km, which can be slightly increased with the standard regenerative braking feature. With the pedal to floor, the e-Verito can hit a top-speed of 86 km/h .
Some of the standard equipment in e-Verito D4 and upwards include an infotainment system, electric ORVMs, alloy wheels, follow-me headlamps, and keyless entry. Another feature to note is ‘REVIVE’, where the drivetrain squeezes out an extra 8 km of range when the power levels are low.
