Mahindra unveiled the e-Verito, an electric car version of the Mahindra Verito sedan, at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016.
The e-Verito is powered by a 72 V 3-phase AC induction motor that provides a maximum of 30.5 kW (41 hp) at 3,500 rpm and maximum torque of 91 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The sedan gets a maximum speed of, the company claims, 86 (+/-2) kmph. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
The e-Verito measures 4,277 mm in length, 1,740 mm in width, 1,540 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,630 mm and the sedan sits on 185/70 R14 tubeless tyres. The e-Verito sports roof rails, 10-spoke alloy wheels, chrome grille and weighs 1,700 kg.
The company hasn't announced any launch details for the electric sedan.
