Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the quirky Honda Navi for sale in Goa. It’s priced at INR 45,827 (on-road), and is available with a wide range of accessories.
The Honda Navi is the first vehicle to have been developed from the ground-up by Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. It combines the looks of a motorcycle with that of a scooter, resulting in an appealing 2-wheeler for the young generation. The Navi measures 1,805 mm in length, 748 mm in width and 1,286 mm in wheelbase, and has a ground clearance of 156 mm and a seat height of 765 mm. It weighs just 101 kg.
Power comes from a 110 cc forced-air-cooled single-cylinder engine with HET (Honda Eco Technology) sourced from the Honda Activa 3G. It produces a maximum power of 7.83 hp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and paired to a CVT. The Navi has a fuel tank capacity of 3.8 litres and can average a fuel mileage of 60 km/l. It is also capable of a top speed of 81 km/h.
According to reports, sales of the Honda Navi have surpassed 10,000 units across India since it was launched in March.
