Costs INR 300 more than the Gold edition.
TVS Motor has launched the TVS StaR City+ Chocolate Gold Edition for INR 49,234, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. For reference, the Gold edition costs INR 48,934, while the standard electric start model is priced at INR 47,434. The edition is available only at select TVS dealerships in the country though.
Cosmetically, the StaR City+ Chocolate Edition is painted in a combination of gold, brown and tan, and gets gold alloy wheels. There are no further changes to the commuter motorcycle. Other colors that are offered include Matte Titanium Grey and Gold, and Scarlett, Black and Blue.
According to Arun Siddharth, Head of Marketing – Motorcycles, TVS Motor Company, the new color "leverages the popularity of the matte brown color while taking the ante of style further up with gold".
Powering the StaR City+ Chocolate Gold Edition is same 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that develops 8.3 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, and is mated to a four-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rests on a single cradle tubular frame chassis and is equipped with a telescopic front suspension and a 5-step adjustable shock absorber at the rear.

Disc brakes are not on offer on the StaR City+, hence a 130 mm drum (front) and 110 mm drum (rear) perform braking duties. TVS rates the fuel efficiency at 86 km/l.
