Priced at COP 7,350,000 (around INR 1.62 lakhs).
Suzuki Motorcycles has launched an exclusive matte black edition of the India-made Suzuki Gixxer in Colombia. It's priced at COP 7,350,000 (around INR 1.62 lakhs).
As its name prompts, the bike is finished in a matte black paintjob with gloss black graphics around the fuel tank. The nameplate is also done in gloss black, while the "xx" of the Gixxer name is in red. Otherwise, it looks identical to the regular Gixxer sold in India and global markets.
Powering the Gixxer is a 155 cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor paired to a 6-speed transmission. It's capable of producing 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Stopping power comes from a front disc and rear drum, although a rear disc brake was recently introduced in the India-spec Suzuki Gixxer.

The Gixxer has a standard telescopic fork with 41 mm inner tubes, a swing arm with a monoshock, and 17-inch alloy rims shod with a 100/80 bias-ply tyre upfront and a 140/60 radial tyre at the rear, both of which are tubeless.
