The Gixxer is powered by the same 155 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, carbureted engine matched to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine makes 14.59 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The suspension is telescopic forks at front and a swing arm mono suspension at the rear. Retardation is provided by a single disc at the front and drum at the rear.
The company says that the bike has been developed by the same engineers who have designed the GSX-R series. The street bike gets a muscular fuel tank, twin exhausts in a single end can, and body colored grab rails. It also gets a fully digital instrument console and LED taillights.
