Powered by the Nuvosport's 100 bhp engine.
Mahindra has launched a more powerful version of the Mahindra TUV300 today, which packs the 'mHawk 100' engine. Prices start from INR 8.87 lacs (ex-showroom Mumbai) and is only available in the T8 and T8+ grades.
The only highlight of the variant is its engine, which is sourced from the Mahindra NuvoSport. It's a slightly uprated version of the 1.5L mHawk turbodiesel engine in the current TUV300, but produces 100 bhp and 240 Nm of torque, which is a 20 bhp and 10 Nm increment. It is paired to a 5-speed manual or AMT, which sends power to the rear wheels.
The Mahindra TUV300 mHawk100 came into existence after customer feedback mainly criticized the lack of power in the regular variant. The TUV300 was the least powerful sub-4m SUV in the segment, whilst its diesel-powered rivals had outputs closer to 100 bhp or more.
