Replacing the slow-selling Mahindra Quanto and establishing a new nameplate, the Mahindra Nuvosport features an all new front end with a more aggressive grille flanked by headlamps, separate LED DRLs, contoured hood with an intake, stylized front bumper with round foglamps, and a silver skid plate. The Nuvosport adds black plastic body cladding, while the rear end gets clear lens taillights, roof spoiler and new spare wheel cover.
The interior is largely identical to the outgoing model, save for new feature additions such as steering-mounted buttons, AVN touchscreen infotainment system, alloy wheels and tilt steering adjustability, and a dual tone grey and black leather upholstery. ABS and dual airbags are optional in the N4 grade, and standard on other grades.
The Nuvosport is powered by a 1.5-liter three cylinder mHawk engine which produces 100 PS and 240 Nm of torque. It incorporates a dual mass flywheel similar to the one in the TUV300 for better NVH. A 5-speed AMT will be offered as optional in N6 and N8 grades, while a 5-speed manual is standard across the range. It is capable of attaining a fuel mileage (ARAI-certified) of 17.45 km/L.
