Over 60 percent of bookings for 2.8 AT variant.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that they have received over 15,000 bookings for the Toyota Innova Crysta within 10 days of the launch. According to Toyota Kirloskar Motor vice chairman Shekar Vishwanathan, over 60 percent of the bookings are for the top-end 2.8 AT variant.
The Innova Crysta is available in 10 variants, and the prices range between INR 13.84 Lakhs – INR 20.78 Lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). Vishwanathan has stated that customers in Mumbai will have to wait more than two months to receive their Innova. As the demand increases TKM will increase the output and lower the waiting period.
What is basically the second generation Toyota Innova in other markets, the Innova Crysta for India has grown by 150 mm in length, 70 mm in width and 35 mm in height, although the wheelbase is identical. It measures 4,735 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,795 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

There are two diesel powertrain options available for the Innova Crysta: a 2.4L GD engine with a 5-speed MT that produces 149 PS & 343 Nm of torque, and a 2.8 GD engine with a 6-speed AT capable of 174 PS & 360 Nm of torque. The ARAI-certified mileage for the 2.4 MT and 2.8 AT is 15.10 km/L and 14.29 km/L respectively.
