Launch reported to take place in June 2016.
The Tata Hexa was spied testing in production guise by Motoroids reader Prasad Kadekar from Pune. It is expected to launch in June 2016.
Making its debut in production-spec form at the Auto Expo 2016, the Hexa adopts a rugged design that is an evolution of the outgoing Tata Aria's MPV-esque exterior. It comes with black plastic cladding and side sills, projector headlamps, signature LED DRLs and dual exhaust tailpipes.
Top-end grades feature ESP (electronic stability program), diamond-cut alloy wheels, 6-seat configuration with captain seats, Harman infotainment system, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting and 6 airbags, making it the most feature packed product in their lineup.

A 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard, while a 6-speed automatic was seen in the Hexa Tuff at the Auto Expo 2016. The Hexa also features a Drive Mode selector that offers four driving modes: Automatic, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough-Road.
