Will not feature three-row seating though.
As reported in January, Renault will unveil the Renault Maxthon (name unconfirmed), the successor to the Renault Koleos, at the 2016 Auto China (2016 Beijing Motor Show) that opens on the 25th of this month. As its debut nears, Renault has released the first teaser video of the Renault Maxthon.

The teaser video shows full-LED light signature of the Renault Maxthon. As expected, the Koleos successor also features the new headlamp design and C-shaped LED daytime running lights which start from the headlamps and flows down to the bumper as seen in case of the Renault Talisman and Renault Megane Mk4. The headlight units apparently incorporate two LED modules, and as speculated, feature 'Pure Vision' technology.

Like the Talisman, Megane and Scenic, the Maxthon will also be based on the CMF–C/d version of the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF (Common Module Family) platform. It will be larger than the Koleos however, the increased dimensions shouldn't be speculated for three-row seating, as Laurens van den Acker, Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, Renault Group, confirmed that there are no plans to offer the Koleos successor as a three-row crossover. Powering the Nissan X-Trail's mechanical cousin, will likely be an array of petrol and diesel engines with displacements ranging from 1.6- to 2.5-litre.
