Mahindra has launched a new variant of the Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up, dubbed Mahindra Big Bolero Pik-Up. As one can tell by its name, this is a larger version of the regular Bolero Pik Up. Prices start from INR 6.15 Lakhs (ex-showroom Pune).
The most distinctive feature of the Big Bolero Pik-Up is its cargo bay, which measures 2,765 mm long. Compared to the regular Pik Up, it’s 484 mm longer. Along with the increased length, the payload has also increased to two options: 1,250 kg and 1,500 kg.
Inside, the Big Bolero Pik-Up has a three spoke steering wheel, tall gear lever, bare-bones dual-tone dashboard derived from the passenger variant, and reclinable seats upholstered in fabric material.
Under the hood, the Big Bolero packs the same 2.5-litre DI diesel engine available in two configurations – 70 hp BS4 and 63 hp BS3. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, and there is no option of a 4WD drivetrain.
