Expected to launch in India next year.
Russian automotive forum, Yaplakal, has posted new renderings of the next generation Hyundai Verna (or Solaris/Accent in other markets) based on spyshots of various test mules. It's expected to replace the current Verna 4S in India sometime next year.
The next gen Verna will be designed around Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0, which influences models like the Hyundai i20 and 2016 Hyundai Elantra. It features the characteristic single-frame hexagonal grille directly flanked by new headlamps, large wraparound taillamps, repositioned registration plate mount at the rear, and larger ORVMs.
Inside, the design will receive a complete overhaul. It comprises of a floating dashboard that has a new center console design adorned with silver trim, revised instrument cluster and an i20-inspired steering wheel. The rear cabin will get a dedicated HVAC vent, as seen in spyshots.

As for engine lineup, it is likely to retain the current offerings, which include 1.4- and 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. A 5- and 6-speed manual, and 6-speed automatic, and even a 7-speed DCT gearbox choices are expected to be the transmission options.
