Would be unveiled this year.
RushLane has released a rendering of the road-going version of the TVS Akula 310, showcased as a concept motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2016. The super-sport model is expected to be launched this year.
The new rendering envisions the Akula with a twin headlamp, a pair of rear view mirrors mounted along the sides of the visor, front indicators emerging from the fairing sides, wide split seats, raised pillion seating position and the same exhaust unit as the racing concept. Parts like the alloy wheels, inverted fork and the number plate hanger on the rendering are borrowed from the BMW G310R.
The TVS Akula 310's production version is said to be have a close resemblance to the concept. It will reportedly be unveiled around October before it launches in the following weeks. It is also said that the Akula 310 will be introduced in the market after the BMW G310R goes on sale.
