Created by Nissan Design Europe.
The Nissan Qashqai Premium Concept, shown at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, is based on the current second generation Nissan Qashqai, and has been created by Nissan Design Europe (NDE) in London.
The concept is finished in matt black colour and features contrasting premium golden copper accents in the headlamp clusters, on the wheel arches, around the window line and on the roof rails. The exterior is further stylized by the enhanced 'V-motion' grille and the usage of authentic carbon fibre in the lower sections as well as the machined 20-inch wheels.
The interior modifications are rather subtle. Noteworthy features include soft white Nappa leather upholstery, something usually offered in luxury cars, with quilting finish on the central section of seat back and base. Going with the exterior accents, is the usage of a unique premium golden copper gold weave carbon fibre throughout the interior, with a black satin chrome and liquid gloss black on the steering wheel and gear shifter.
Nissan has not mentioned any technical modifications for the Nissan Qashqai Premium Concept or plans to put the concept into limited or series production.
