Based on the leaked images of the next generation Maruti Swift, IAB's graphic artist Shoeb R Kalania has come up with a rendering of the next Maruti Swift Dzire, which offers a first possible look at the sub-4m sedan's new design.
Compared to the current model, it features a slightly upright front-end with a gaping grille, chrome accents around the grille and foglamps, new headlamps with LED DRLs and curvy front fenders inspired by the Baleno. The rear-end gets smaller taillamps with LED lighting and door handles on the B-Pillar.
The interior of the next gen Swift was also leaked, which reveals a new design that will also be featured in the next Swift Dzire. It comes equipped with a new steering wheel, twin pod instrument dials, new center console design with circular HVAC vents, Smartplay infotainment system, and new HVAC controls.

No confirmed details on the next Swift Dzire's engine lineup exist at the moment. It’s likely to offer the 1.2L K-Series and 1.0L Boosterjet as petrol options. while the 1.3L DDiS could be replaced with Suzuki’s self-developed diesel engine. Transmission options may include 5-speed manual, an AMT or even a CVT unit.
A report from LiveMint in December said that the next gen Maruti Dzire will launch in the FY 2017-18.
