As pre-orders significantly soar with each passing day, so does the waiting period of a car. In the Maruti Vitara Brezza’s case, the company has received well over 25,000 pre-orders, which has increased the waiting period to 4-5 months.

Customers looking to order one of the LDi, LDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+ (not dual tone) variants will have to wait for four months, and three months for VDi and VDi (O) grades. The range-topping ZDi+ with the dual tone colour option has a waiting period of five months.

The Vitara Brezza packs a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Brezza is capable of a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
