The new Suzuki Access has been launched at INR 53,887 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the second generation model that replaces the existing version which was introduced in 2007. The new Access 125 is underpinned by an all-new platform and features an upgraded engine.
The new Suzuki Access features a brand new styling and receives a list of new features. It is marketed to have the longest seat and the largest under-seat storage in its segment. The model is characterised by a new headlamp design, a multi-function instrument system with a digital display and two trip meters, a front storage pocket, an optional DC socket, a larger floorboard, alloy wheels, 3D emblem and chrome trims.
The hardware comprises of telescopic fork, standard rear suspension setup, 12-inch front wheel with 90/90 tubeless tyre, 10-inch rear wheel with 90/100 tubeless tyre, optional front disc brake, drum brakes as standard, and a 5.6-litre fuel tank. The scooter measures 1,870 mm in length, 655 mm in width, 1,160 mm in height, 1,265 mm in wheelbase, 160 mm in ground clearance, 780 mm in seat height and 102 kg in kerb weight.

The new Access is powered by a tweaked version of the existing 124 cc air-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine. The motor features SEP (Suzuki ECO Performance) and Suzuki Easy Start System. It produces 8.7 PS at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The new version is claimed to return 20 percent higher mileage.
