Update:Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited (SMIL) has released the new price of the Hayabusa as INR 13,57,135 (ex-showroom, Delhi) effective this month. The motorcycle is being assembled at the Gurgaon facility where the rest of SMIL's models are being built.
Overdrive reports that Suzuki Motorcycles India will soon announce local assembly of the Suzuki Hayabusa and that its ex-showroom price is likely to be reduced by around INR 2,00,000. The model is currently priced at INR 15,95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The GSX1300R measures 2,190 mm in length, 737 mm in width, 1,165 mm in height, 1,480 mm in wheelbase, 120 mm in ground clearance, 805 mm in seat height, 266 kg in kerb weight and 21 litres in fuel tank capacity.
The bike is equipped with an inverted telescopic fork with coil spring and oil damper, link type rear suspension also with coil spring and oil damper, twin disc brake upfront, single disc brake at the rear, 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) front tyre and 190/50ZR17M/C (73W) rear tyre.

The Hayabusa is powered by the 1,340 cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and produces 197 PS and 154 Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
