Carries over most of the changes from the Mercedes A Class facelift.
Mercedes-Benz has digitally unveiled the 2016 Mercedes CLA and 2016 Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake, which are confirmed to debut on March 23, 2016 at the New York Motor Show and at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Berlin on April 18.
The new CLA carries over most the changes from the facelifted 2016 Mercedes A Class, which includes Multibeam LED headlamps, sleek LED DRL strips, re-designed front bumper, updated LED taillight clusters, and new exhaust tips. A new color has been added to the existing color palette: Cavansite Blue Metallic (Lunar Blue in the United States).
Inside, the new CLA features a revised 8-inch freestanding COMAND infotainment display that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Also part of the facelift are new interior color options, new matte black ash wood and aluminum with a honeycomb grain trim, slightly updated instrument cluster and more chrome embellishments.

The Euro-spec Mercedes CLA is available with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter four cylinder petrol engines that are available in power outputs ranging from 122 hp to 381 hp (AMG CLA 45). The diesel lineup includes a Renault-sourced 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 109 hp and a 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel available in two power states: 136 hp and 177 hp.
The facelifted CLA will start arriving at German dealerships from July, and in the U.S from the third quarter of 2016. An Indian launch is likely to happen in late 2016 or early 2017.
