Market launch set for next month.
These images of the Maruti Vitara Brezza were snapped during a training exercise carried out for dealership and sales personnel. The variant seen here is the top-end ZDi+, though it lacks a contrast roof as seen in other ZDi+ variants.
On the outsize, the Vitara Brezza sports projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, integrated turn signals on the wing mirrors, rear spoiler, rear wiper/washer and a chrome garnished rear registration plate enclosure.
It is powered by the 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine which is capable of developing 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti is yet to disclose the ARAI-rated fuel economy of the compact SUV.
While a petrol variant will not be available at the time of launch, Maruti plans on introducing a petrol option later on in its lifecycle. An AMT is also under consideration, executive director for Maruti-Suzuki engineering, Mr. C.V. Raman said.
