Deliveries to begin next month.
Dealers of Maruti-Suzuki have started accepting bookings for the Maruti Vitara Brezza for a sum of INR 21,000. At least three dealers located in major metropolitan cities confirmed to Indian Autos Blog that customers have started paying deposits in order to reserve the compact SUV.
Deliveries of the Maruti Vitara Brezza will take place next month, one person in the know confirmed to Indian Autos Blog. Maruti will initially offer only a diesel variant of the Vitara Brezza, the engine being the tried-and-tested 1.3-liter four-cylinder unit. It packs 90 PS at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm and is matched to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height and 2,500 mm in wheelbase, and is shod with 215/60-R16 alloy wheels. The ground clearance is rated at 198 mm and the boot space is good for 328 liters.

A report says that the Vitara Brezza will be available in six variants, with a driver-airbag standard across the range. Dual front airbags and ABS will be offered in an optional safety pack on the base and mid-variants, while it will be standard on the top-end model.
