Mahindra Quanto facelift (Mahindra Canto) – IAB Rendering
Aravind Jayachandran, I'm a huge petrolhead, an automobile engineer, a massive fan of Ferrari, and loves collecting die-cast models for inspiration.
To launch before the end of this financial year.
Based on recent spyshots of the facelifted Mahindra Quanto (Mahindra Canto), IAB’s graphic artist, Shoeb R Kalania has worked on a new render of the sub-4m crossover.
As seen in the render and several spyshots, the front-end of the new Quanto will be thoroughly facelifted for an all new look, featuring new headlights and daytime running lights, revised grille, a hood scoop and a re-profiled front bumper. Unlike the MPV-esque design of the outgoing model, the new Quanto will adopt a butch front-end that looks closer to an SUV.
Inside, the updated Quanto will have a beige-finished interior with a new multifunction steering wheel, black center console, an armrest and new dials for the instrument panel, as revealed by spyshots.
Under the hood, Mahindra is likely to drop the 1.5-liter mCR100 diesel engine for the more fuel efficient mHawk80 diesel engine from the TUV300, which develops 84 hp and 230 Nm of torque. The Quanto facelift will offer a 5-speed manual and the autoSHIFT 5-speed AMT, which has already been confirmed for production.
