Has 8.6 PS and 10 Nm in store.
The Mahindra Gusto 125 is being showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. It is slated to be launched in the coming weeks, with two dual tone colour options - Orange Rush, and Bolt White; and in two monotone colours - Monarch Black and Regal Red.
Positioned above the Mahindra Gusto (110) that was launched in September 2014, the 125 cc variant is based on the former's platform. The 124.57 cc singe-cylinder air-cooled M-TEC engine powering it is tuned to produce 8.6 PS at 7,000 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and is mated to a CVT. The engine has a load sensing 5-curve engine mapping for intuitive power delivery and efficient consumption of fuel. The certified mileage of this scooter is not released by the company yet.
