Retains the trademark features of the Gusto 110.
Mahindra 2 Wheelers today revealed the Mahindra Gusto 125, ahead of its market launch scheduled to take place after the Auto Expo 2016.
From the outside, the Gusto 125 looks largely similar to the Gusto on sale, but gets new graphics and colors. The side panels also house the '125' badges so that onlookers have no confusion between the Gusto 125 and the Gusto 110.
Power for the Gusto 125 comes from a 124.57 cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, M-TEC engine capable of 8.5 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The scooter will continue to use a CVT. Though Mahindra are yet to reveal the fuel efficiency of the Gusto 125, estimates say it could be 60+ km/l.
At the tape, the Gusto 125 measures 1,825 mm in length, 711 mm in width, 1,188 mm in height and 1,275 mm in wheelbase. It rides on 90/90 12-inch tubeless tyres with stopping power coming from 130 mm drum brakes at the front and rear. It has a ground clearance of 165 mm and a 6 liter fuel tank.

Up front, the Gusto 125 gets a telescopic with air spring type suspension while the rear sees a coil-type, hydraulic unit. Halogen headlight with LED pilot lights, a height-adjustable seat, a flip-key, find-me and guide-me lights are some noteworthy features on the scooter.
