Could be meant for export markets.
Couple of days after the first spyshots of a VW Vento featuring new headlight clusters surfaced, Carwale has posted new images that offer a closer look.
The headlight clusters sport integrated LED daytime running lights, similar to that of the VW Jetta facelift. VW India has divulged that there are no plans of announcing the addition in the India-spec Vento, says the publication. It is likely to be exclusive to certain export markets. VW India exports cars to 35 countries, and the Vento is christened the "Polo Sedan" in certain markets.
The headlamps are fitted to the facelifted model introduced last year, which gets a triple-slat chrome grille, a redesigned hood, chrome highlights for the bumper and bootlid, LED taillight clusters and a new alloy wheel pattern.

The Vento in India is offered with a choice between a 1.6-liter MPi petrol engine, a 1.2-liter TSI petrol and a 1.5-liter TDi diesel engine. A 7-speed DSG is available on the TSI as standard, and on the TDi as an option; a 5-speed manual is standard.
