Could have some changes compared to the iterations shown at Auto Expo 2014.
ZigWheels reports that Hero MotoCorp will present the Hero Zir, Hero Dare, Hero HX250R and the Hero Super Splendor iSmart at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida next week. It is to be noted that the first three models were unveiled at the Auto Expo 2014 and are expected to be presented at the current edition of the Expo featuring some changes.
Hero Zir:
The Hero Zir is a premium and performance scooter that was unveiled in two versions - one with a flat footboard and the other with a European step-through design. It was loaded with segment-first features such as projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED turn indicators. It was displayed with a 157 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 14 PS and 12.7 Nm of torque. The company claimed that the Hero Zir could achieve a top speed of 110 km/h.
Hero Dare:
The Hero Dare is perceived as a 125 cc scooter that will be targeted at male buyers. It is powered by a 125 cc engine that produce 9 PS and 9.5 Nm. Its salient features include LED DRLs, disc brake at the front, and a fully digital instrument console.
Hero HX250R:
Co-developed with Erik Buell Racing (EBR) for the most part, the Hero HX250R is the company's first fully faired motorcycle that will be launched as the flagship offering. It is powered by a 249 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled all-aluminium engine that will be tuned to produce around 31 PS. The company claims the HX250R is capable of accelerating from 0-60 km/h in 2.7 seconds. The notable features on this bike include a combined-ABS system, monoshock rear suspension and an under-seat exhaust can.
Hero Super Splendor iSmart:
Media reports that emanated over the past few weeks suggested that a new variant of the Hero Super Splendor will be introduced with the i3S (Idle Stop and Start System) that was introduced on the Hero Splendor. The model is expected to feature minor design and graphics changes that will distinguish the model from the standard Super Splendor.
